PAUL REDDICK SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6 8:00 P.M.

Paul Reddick is a songwriter from Toronto who plays harmonica and sings with a voice that can be as serious a gun, or as subtle as touch. His music is of the old scho It has what all old school, pre-war blues have at their co a paradoxical nature. His voice, harmonica playing, a above all his lyrics are clear and dark at the same tirr They are easy to understand, but impossible to understc' completely. What his music gives is a pleasant sense confusion, and what is better than a little bit of confusiol Call it wonder. Without it, nothing new can happen. DAVID FRANCEY SATURDAY, MARCH 6 8:00 P.M.
"One of Canada's Fofk Festival Favorites"
David Francey has won MANY awards including four nomi- nations and three Juno Awards in only 6 years! He has made a reputation for himself as one of Canada's folk festival favorites and something of a latter-day Canadian poet laure- ate. I can't stop listening to his CDs. His songs will be listened to and sung for years to come. He reminds me of sort of a Scottish Gordon Lightfoot. Last time he was here people would call from places like London, Kitchener, Toronto and Peterborough, ordering several tickets, then asking "so where is Alliston". In other words, they didn't care where this next town was, they just wanted to hear David!
LORI CULLEN SATURDAY. MAY 8 8:00 P.M "Juno Nominated Jazz/Folk Singer"
brings her stellar band to Alliston for an intimate per- formance of familiar and original songs. Interpretations of songs by Bacharach, Coburn, Lightfoot, Nelson, and Mancini combined with her own engaging compositions create a genre breaking mix of musicality and engaging interplay with a band that has played together for many years. The Metro Times in Detroit says of Lori that "she has more that enough talent to become the next premier interpreter of our time. Her band members are KuriE Swinghammer (guitar), David Matheson (piano). Mark Mariash (drums), Maury Lafoy (bass).
